To some of you, those words evoke a very real, tangible, warm fuzzy feeling in your gut…to the rest, you may be “drawing a blank” right now (although the picture may have given it away), trying to figure out what the hell I’m talking about.

Welcome to blog post #1 from someone who probably has no business writing a blog. We’ve recently added to our marketing team here at Barletta Pontoon Boats – she’s a rockstar in case you’re wondering, joining my other rockstar co-worker – and somehow through multiple emails about social media, and post types, and contests, I inadvertently agreed to writing a blog for our site. Pretty sure that my two co-workers were conspiring against me and are trying to teach me a lesson about my more-than-usual “over-writing” for advertisements and communications.

Barletta's Elite Series Last year, Barletta’s L-Class series won the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association (NMMA) Innovation Award in the pontoon category, which is impressive in itself, but even more so since Barletta was a brand-new company and the L-Series were its first boats ever introduced. Now a year later, Barletta has introduced the Elite-Series which will settle into the lineup as a mid-level pontoon boat series. “The E-Class is the next evolution in the Barletta Pontoon Boat full line offerings,” explained the vice president of marketing at Barletta, Jeff Roth. “It’s been built to be our mid-level product and comes out at one price point below the L-Class. It shares several of the same features that have made the L-Class such a hit—VIP Technology, premium marine vinyl furniture, Hertz stereo systems, Yeti-Ready cupholders, a large and functional aft deck, and many, many more features.” While the E-Series is perfect for more price-conscious boaters, it still contains the same DNA as its wildly successful predecessors. One of the main things that separates this series from the L-Class pontoon boat lineup is that they’ve pulled out some of the standard items and made them optional instead. With that being said, it’s no secret that the E-Series has a lot to live up to after the L-Series’ smashing triumph, so we were pretty excited to take a couple of these models for a test drive and we weren’t disappointed.
